  1. IMHO you have to assign a layout to the container and don't put items in config.

    This should work:


    Ext.define('MyFirstApp.view.Main', {
    extend : 'Ext.Container',
    xtype : 'main',
    ...

    A workaround is to disable the animation in the titlebar:

    navigationBar : {
    animation: false
    }...

    Thanks a lot - that's the better workaround.



    On the iPhone the workaround seems acceptable, but on an iPad it looks really ugly.

    I track down the problem in Sencha Touch 2.1 and find out, that the title jumps right after the animation of the title (in my case a slide). Before the animation of the title the title is displayed...

    I'm also observing this behaviour when setting the title dynamically:


    this.anExtContainer.config.title = 'Just a much longer title';
    this.anExtNavigationView.push(this.anExtContainer);...
