Question issues upgrading to ext 3.2.1

    issues upgrading to ext 3.2.1

    Hi All,

before starting this thread I have already gone through the threads:
    http://www.extjs.com/forum/showthrea...ading-to-Ext-3 and
    http://www.extjs.com/forum/showthrea...os-for-Ext-3.0.

Making required changes to the code according to the above mentioned links, I still am not able to get the website working after upgrading Ext library from 2.2 to 3.2.1.

The main issues I'm facing are:
    1. the contents of the viewport are coming at the top-left portion of the viewport.
    2. There is an error "ct is null" in the line 15897 of ext-all-debug.js, that comes most probably while rendering the radiogroup inside of a panel. Also I can't see the radiogroup as well.
    3. then there is another error that persists because the radiogroup is not coming up, and hence the code is not able to parse through the items of the radiogroup. I hope is will be resolved if issue 2 is resolved.

Has anybody else faced such similar issues? Any help would be appreciated.

Exclamation the 'search' in this forum sucks real bad

the 'search' in this forum sucks real bad

    This is wierd!!!

I tried all the search word combinations to search for what to do if I need to upgrade to Ext 3.x, and I didn't find anything worthwhile.

Then I tried looking into the "Ext:help" section of "ExtJS Community Forums (3.0)", and I found the first sticky to be what I needed.

Then I found issues with the code and could not find solutions for 2 days.
Now when I post the issue here in a new thread, I get 'Similar Threads' below the posted thread. These links were very helpful to me.

Why was I not able to find these threads when I tried to search?

In short, the 'search' in this forum sucks real bad!

I recommend using simple instead of advanced search (link).

I suppose typing into the search box at the top right corner of this forum, is simple search only.
I guess giving proper tags to a thread might play as significant a role too! The people creating threads should give tags matching the soul of the thread, and the seach should not be limited to just searching on the basis of tags (I'm just guessing this as the flow).

NOM, but eitherways the search technique in this forum would have to really improve!

No, the upper right corner search is advanced search too.

I also recommend entering as much information as possible before searching (e.g. only selecting the appropriate forums, order by last posting date etc.).
