Hi all,
..first of all, great work with the ExtJs and Touch, they are great Libraries and I guess helping many people to work much more efficiently. I am only a "sometimes" programmer, so for me ExtJs has been very helpful for some minor apps / tools / toys.
So, now I am looking to write a small app to display charts on the iPad and I think I am facing some problems:
- Touch seems not to have charts at present ?
- ExtJs with good charts lacks the nice "touch"- touch look & style
- Flash is, as far as I heard, not supposed to run on iPad and others
Would by any chance anyone have a good suggestion ? Should I wait for charts to appear in Touch, go for ExtJs and put it on iPad or something completly different ?
I made some good experience with Raphaël and hope that Sencha will include it in a future version of ExtJs instead of the Flash-Charts.
Raphaël should work nice on mobile devices also, take a look here to get started: http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthre...Raphael-canvas
Our intent is to have Raphael provide canvas based graphic controls. The team is working hard to have it available as soon as possible. In order to make it as compelling as the rest of the library it will take a bit more time.
..thanks a lot, polimux, Jamie, for your help on this, it took me a bit time due to a business trip, but Raphael and the Charts are really working great.....
Again, thanks so much,
all the best,
Frank
