I am currently researching a HTML 5 web framework that my company would like to use.
I think this Sencha Touch is very close to what we are looking for.
I do have an odd question:
I tested the Sencha Touch demos on the desktop browsers: IE 7, FireFox 3.6.3, Chrome, and Safari. It works great on Chrome and Safari but it doesn't do really well with FireFox especially IE.
I know that it's being designed for mobile devices but I was wondering if there's any future plan on making it to also work great on FireFox and IE?
The last question I have is when do you plan to release this?
Great job on the product!

We are targeting mobile devices that support webkit, or at least proper webstandards. We have absolutely no intention on making this framework work with IE or Firefox. If you want to build an app for desktop browsers, then you should use our Ext JS product, which is specifically tailored for those. The fact that our demo's run on Chrome and Safari on the desktop is only because they use webkit, not because we tried to make them work.
