    The sample no longer defaults to the date specified in :


    value: {
    day: 23,
    month: 2,
    year: 1984
    },

    Did this break in the latest release or has it be deprecated?

    I believe it was broken due to the changes to the scroller. Picker is slated for a refactor to deal with the changes made to scroller in an upcoming release.

    So should we stop using the date picker? This is a showstopper for us as we need some way to allow the user to pick a date. Can we implement this on our own using the Scroller? Any samples for using the scroller?

    The API should remain the same, there's alignment issues currently due to how the scroller was changed. It's a high priority item for us to resolve.

    In 0.94 we completely refactored / rewrote the Picker. All the open bugs related to Picker should be resolved.
