Ext'ers in Austin, TX?
Ext'ers in Austin, TX?
Long overdue, I'm sure, but I'm interested in meeting up with other Ext'ers in the Austin area. Could maybe turn into a meetup/user group down the road, but initially at least I'm just interested in meeting like-minded devs and maybe kicking off some collaboration with the right person(s). Anyone interested in meeting up for a beer or coffee? You can also PM me if you want to talk directly.

Not in Austin but in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. =)
I'm in Austin and have a love/hate relationship with ExtJS :-)

More love than hate I hope
Let's hook up next time I'm down that way (or you're up here)

@Brian,
Setup a meetup group. They have plumbing to do the advertising for you.

Yeah, meetup.com has been good for our group.
Yeah, I might do that. I was initially not wanting to appear too formal about it, but I guess anything that gets people's attention will work.

I am definitely in.
There are 4 from my current team that will likely come if its at a bar.
Plus another couple former ext folks from MessageOne.
Pick a day, and I will spread the word.

you might also post on http://www.refreshaustin.org/ they probably have quite of few ext users as well.
Once people get hooked on ext they tend to come to the forums less frequently. So it might take a while for the meetup to get established.
I suspect its a "build it and they will come" kind of thing.
In case you missed it, I decided to bite the bullet per Jay's recommendation:
Austin Ext JS / Sencha Meetup, Aug. 24th
Hope to see some people there!
