Question ExtJS QA and selenium tests

    ExtJS QA and selenium tests

    Hi,

I'm writing some QA tests with Selenium onto my webapp. I use some ExtJS form, and i'd like to test them automatically. I work with Selenium IDE, but i've some trouble to clic onto submit button.
Have you any feedback about it ?
Have you already tested your app with Selenium IDE ?

    Thanks.

Buttons are indeed a bit of a problem, because the id is assigned to the <table> and not to the <button>.

If you write your Selenium tests using Selenium RC then you can simply use a selector '#id-of-button button' instead of '#id-of-button'.

But if you are using Selenium IDE, then you either have to modify the code for all button clicks or you have to patch the Ext code to be able to specify a buttonId (I posted the code for this somewhere).
