    Export Excel, please help


    Hi,
    Is it a way to force the browser to open the excel from a connection which return from the server the type like:
    Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.ms-excel"; (vb.net)?

    I am using on the server an Infragistics build in excel export.

    u better have to give a look to the xampp comunity examples u can download it or view the source from sourceforge.net.

    But i think there is a method to take the data in xls or whatever directly using ajax/javascript as a main language. Most of people think it's quite a injury, that he or she is sent to use google, this is not what i mean but i'll suggest u
