    [INFOREQ] setVisible(), show(), hide() do not work as expected on Safari Browser

    the functions setVisible(), show() and hide() do not work as expected on Safari Browser.

    If I´m using this functions at e.g. a Fieldset FF and IE show or hide the Fieldset. For Safari I have to call myFieldset.getEl().hide() or show() or setVisible(...) additionally.

    Here´s an example
    Code:
    	myFieldset.getEl().hide(); // this is only necessary for Safari
    	myFieldset.setVisible(false);
    I´ve tested this with Safari 5.0.1

    Is this just for FieldSets?

    I´ve only noticed it for FieldSets, yet. Didn´t test it with other components.
    Should be your job to tell us the cause for the bug, shouldn´t it? :-))

    Default setVisible(),show(),hide() sometimes not work well in safari

    setVisible(),show(),hide() sometimes not work well in safari

    I have the same problem.
    I find in safari if we initiate component with hidden:true it will add css class x-hide-display and style:'display:none'.
    But in firefox it only add css class x-hidden-display.
