    Default Panel Carousel?

    Panel Carousel?

    Hi,

i need that very often - a panel / dataview with overflow and carousel-effect. The same is integrated in tabPanel for the tabs. I don't need the complete ExtCore carousel with the auto stuff, only 2 buttons left/right.

As ExtJS is very widget orientated i wonder that this functionality isn't built in.
What is the best way to achieve this, is there something ready for usage? Should i extract the logic from tabPanel? Should i rewrite the ExtCore Carousel?

    Any tip is appreciated.

use could use an animated 'card layout'... haven't got time to write a demo, but it should be super easy.

hm - card layout is normally used to show only one item (as tabpanel or wizard)
I also need the buttons back/forward for navigation. It smells like a plugin, but havn't seen such.

Sounds to me like you want a DataView that has a custom Paging plugin.... Use a DataView with a store using paging and then as you click on individual left/right arrows load the next set of data.

Aaron - that is an idea. In my case i have about 5 visible elements out of ~100, for my taste that would lead to too much requests.

I started writing a plugin using exact the methods of TabPanel, also support mouse wheel for scrolling.

Is it possible to create carousel using DataView like jquery in ExtJS ? Example link. I am using ExtJS 5, any work around ?
