I have a column defined for a EditableListGrid with a GroupingView attached that has a custom renderer as follows:

Use case 1 (see image 1)
Code:
renderer : function  r(value,metadata,record,rowIndex,colIndex,store) { return '<a  class="standardlink" href="javascript:curl(\'[hvHRSdmfFimBjHL]/[uPQeRRMIMQYDuib]:///\')">' + value +  '</a>';}
Use case 2 (see image 2)
Code:
renderer : function r(value,metadata,record,rowIndex,colIndex,store) { return '<a class="standardlink" href="javascript:curl(\'[hvHRSdmfFimBjHL]/[' + rowIndex + ']/[uPQeRRMIMQYDuib]:///\')">' + value + '</a>';}
The problem is the use of the rowIndex parameter. When I use this variable the grouping view stops grouping my results and shows them a individual rows (the grouping fails). There is no javascript error reported.
