    Default Equivalent ext function to jQuery.fn.trigger() ??

    Equivalent ext function to jQuery.fn.trigger() ??

    In jQuery I can do the following to programatically force a click event to occur on a Form submit button.

    $('#MySubmitButtonID').trigger("click");

    Is there an equivalent way to do this within ext? I have spent way too long on this and hope I am just overlooking the obvious. And, no, the form.onSubmit()/Submit() functions will not work for me, unfortunately. long story....

    Regards, Mike Kidder

    Just use the underlying dom element:

    Code:
    Ext.get('whatever').dom.click();

    Thanks evant!

    I knew the answer was going to be easier than my explanation. A sure sign it is time to get some rest....
