[2.2.0] GXT crashes mobile Safari (iPad)

Hi everyone,

we're currently testing our application on the iPad.
But at some places mobile safari just closes, it most likely crashes.
You can reproduce this by just visiting the explorer demo on the iPad:

http://www.sencha.com/examples-dev/explorer.html

When safari is almost finished with loading the page it just disappears.
The normal Safari 5.0.2 on Windows works fine, though.

Can you take a look at it?

GXT does not support the IPad.

http://www.sencha.com/examples/explorer.html is the correct url and that loads fine on my Ipad.

Yeah, this one works - i don't know where I have the other url from, I guess it's one which always contains the current development release

the examples-dev sometimes serves for development releases, but has an older version now. You should never use it for things like this.

What's the story behind this? Which parts are not supported by the iPad? Is this solved with GXT 3.X?

I mean, this is a real show stopper for using GXT as lots of our customers are using iPad and iPhone...
