Hi,
Are we allowed to submit apps that are already on App Store?

Does the contest require us to develop a fresh app or we can submit an existing app.

Secondly, will the app be considered if its making use of external web based processing of data along with extensive use of Sencha?
or it has to be purely Sencha.

Hmm.. Good question. I wonder what the dev's position on it is.

It would seem to me though that a purpose of a contest would be to develop an app specifically for the contest (given their "start prototyping" statement in the contest description).

Something that is ready prior to the contest would defeat the purpose of the contest.
