    Default Playing You tube video using sencha

    Playing You tube video using sencha


    I try to play a you tube video in my site.for that i use the following code
    1. var pnl = new Ext.Panel({
    2. layout: {
    3. type: 'vbox',
    4. pack: 'center'
    5. },
    6. items: [{
    7. xtype: 'video',
    8. url: 'youtube url',
    9. loop: true,
    10. width: 500,
    11. height: 400,
    12. poster: 'Screenshot.png'
    13. }],
    14. fullscreen: true
    15. })
    But the above code not works.any idea to play the youtube video.i use html:'youtube url'. it works on browser but not works in iphone or android.Thanks

    1) Don't number your code, just use the correct CODE tags.
    2) Is it loading the HTML5 version or the flash?

    The micro devices on which Touch is usually run do not support Flash.

    Which is why I asked. I would think YouTube would be smart enough to switch to HTML5 when required but I think you have to manually join the HTML5 beta in YouTube which is what may trip people up...? Not too sure, I really don't watch YouTube videos.

    Just don't use Video component ... only use embed tag ... you can use it without problems and you will interface your app at the YouTube player native on your iDevice
