What platform are you on? The Mac install is only 15MB - so unless it's installing all of, I don't know, Windows Vista as a runtime component, it shouldn't be this size.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. It is odd indeed! Now if I look in the Programs Folder is says about 33MB. But that doesn't mean that Windows doesn't have a 3.5GB temp file around somewhere from the install, or some other weirdness...
No it's not 3.5gb stever. The issue is that you're running Windows :-) No seriously...it is. Windows is reporting the size of the full VS 2008 installation, because we use the VS 2008 C/C++ runtime and bootstrap the installation with the redistributable file. This has been a known problem for a very long time, but never corrected (and it can't be adjusted by a vendor).
OK! Strange that only Sencha apps are listed like this though. I had a spat with Steve and Avi years ago and turned to Windows after. Now I don't like any OS. Oh well.
