    [FIXED-479] .98 - Strange characters in Password field on Android


    Every time I type a character in a password field, it shows the character, but then instead of turning into a '*' it turns into '•' (w/o the single quotes). Also if I try to backspace (delete) it just makes more of those characters. If I enter all the characters correctly, I can still log in. But the display is really off. Note that the kitchen sink demo does not do this.

    Also we're still seeing the page jump around like crazy when we type into either the username or password text fields (on Droid only). But some of the problems from .97 seem to be fixed like seeing double password fields, and the floating focus border from the text fields.

    Is anyone else seeing this problem with Password fields on Droid? Do I need to do something more formal to report it as a bug?

    By the way on the Forms page in your Kitchen Sink demo this jumping effect is seen on Android when I enter text in the Password field. Although the weird character problem is not seen.
