Ext.Direct talk from Sencha Con
Ext.Direct talk from Sencha Con
We had read about Ext.Direct when it was first announced, but for whatever reason were not quite able to grasp the benefits of using it inside of our application.
After Aaron Conran's session, we had that "Ah-ha!" moment. I have started implementing it inside of our application and I am really freaking excited about the benefits it is going to bring us. So for that I just wanted to say THANKS for the amazing talks from the conference! This was just one of the many great things we came away with, and proves how beneficial it is to attend

We are integrating with CakePHP. There was someone on the forums who posted an implementation using Cake, but it doesn't look for the remote-able functions inside Cake's controller classes.
I am starting with Tommy's example classes that he posted and adding in the extra stuff needed for it to integrate smoothly inside of Cake. I am writing it as a plugin... as soon as I have it finished and bug tested I'll be sure to post it on the stickied thread
