[Book] Ext JS in Action Second Edition (4.0) - News!
[Book] Ext JS in Action Second Edition (4.0) - News!
At Senchacon, I announced "Ext JS in Action Second Edition" (4.0). With the first edition done, I'm already hard at work on the next one. I can't discuss the TOC in its full entirety yet, but I can tell you that I will be covering Direct and the MVC architecture in part 3.

As soon as the MEAP (Manning Early Access Program) is opened up to the public, I will release the TOC.
More news to follow.

Hallo, first of all congratulations, I'm a first edition buyer (not received yet, I live in Italy), it's possible to follow your progressions via ebook like the first edition?
Regards

That's the goal.
I don't know when the MEAP will be available. I was told that existing owners of the first edition would get a nice discount on the second.

Good
ExtJSInAction was a good read. I've learnt a lot. I have to re-read it since the final version is out. I still search through for examples and how to.
Can't wait for Extjs 4.0 and your book that will cover it

Completely agree. Great job on your first book. Loved it since earlier this summer when I got the PDF.
