    Default content-type for JSON?

    content-type for JSON?

I've been searching around and I have found a few different suggestions. Should I not worry about sending back a content-type for the JSON I am returning? If I should, what is recommended?

    application/json
    text/javascript
    text/json
    text/x-json

The rfc says application/json . You can read the rfc here http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc4627.txt
