I currently have a few jQTouch apps and I'm looking for a more universal framework. Sencha Touch is interesting for its tablet support, but I'm wondering if it can run properly on BlackBerry 5+ and webOS.
The only reference I have found for compatibility is this quote: "Sencha Touch 1.0 is compatible with Apple iOS and Google Android, which together represent over 93% of current US mobile traffic."
I can tell you that it does not work very well on webOS, I have a Palm Pre and it's quite impossible to use Sencha touch apps on it.
Anybody actually tried Sencha Touch with BlackBerry Widget or webOS?
I will probably have to go through the process of using my work computer (Windows) to get Eclipse+BB Widget and try myself, but if somebody can spare me the hassle, it would be much appreciated!
As for webOS, it's a webkit browser but does it support CSS3 the same way Safari and Android do?
Thanks mschwartz! I know BlackBerry 6.x support is coming with Touch v.1.1, so for now I guess I will hold off. I heard 1.1 is coming this January so I could even start and just wait a bit before launching.
BB 4 and 5 have awful browsers so I'll forget about them. The only missing player is webOS! How does Touch behave on webOS? It has a webkit browser if i'm not wrong?
