    Question looking for buttonAlign equivalent

    looking for buttonAlign equivalent

    I used to be able to simply specify:

    Code:
    buttonAlign: "center",
    buttons: [{
       text: "Sign In",
       listeners: {
          click: function() {
             this.handleButtonClick();
          },
          scope: this
       }
    }],
    ...in my Ext.Window config. That option appears to have gone away. Anyone know how to center the buttons in 4?

    Instead of buttons config, add something like:
    Code:
    dockedItems: [{
                    xtype: 'toolbar',
                    dock: 'bottom',
                    items: [
                        { xtype: 'component', flex: 1 }
                        {
                            xtype: 'button',
                            text: 'Centred Button',
                        },
                        { xtype: 'component', flex: 1 }
                    ]
                }]

    According to the docs, defining buttons in the window config is still possible in 4.0:

    Yes, but inside extjs code buttons config converts to dockedItems and extjs 4 has no any simple way to define buttonAlign.

    Thanks uzver, that got me close. This did it:

    Code:
             dockedItems: [{
                xtype: 'toolbar',
                dock: 'bottom',
                ui: 'footer',
                items: [{
                   xtype: 'component',
                   flex: 1,
                   focusable: false
                }, {
                   xtype: 'button',
                   text: config.lblSignIn,
                   listeners: {
                      click: function() {
                         this.handleButtonClick();
                      },
                      scope: this
                   }
                }, {
                   xtype: 'component',
                   flex: 1,
                   focusable: false
                }]

    This is untested, but I think you can actually do this instead:

    Code:
             dockedItems: [{
                xtype: 'toolbar',
                dock: 'bottom',
                ui: 'footer',
                layout: {
                    pack: 'center'
                },
                items: [{
                   xtype: 'button',
                   text: config.lblSignIn,
                   listeners: {
                      click: function() {
                         this.handleButtonClick();
                      },
                      scope: this
                   }
                }]

    For the ref it's explain in the video.
    you have to replace Class reference by a string corresponding to this class.
    for example replace:
    Code:
    Ext.ref('myclass', My.Class);
    by:
    Code:
    Ext.ref('myclass', 'My.Class');

    I am in the process of trying to migrate a large application which is a customised form of the GridPanel. I have a long road ahead, but currently have ran into an error which I cannot resolve: -

    PHP Code:
    [DEPRECATED][4.0][Ext.form.field.ComboBoxshadow (config): Use listConfig.shadow instead
    I realise it relates to combobox shadow or something similar, but not sure on the details.

    Another error I am getting is : -

    PHP Code:
    config is undefined      if (config.trackMouseOver !== undefined) {        ext3-compat.js (line 476
    Thanks

    I am in the process of trying to use the compatibility pack, as a first phase to using Ext 4.
    I got the error: "Trying to add a null item as a child of Container with itemId/id"

    Looking in Firebug, I see that this happens with using "" to put a spacer in a toolbar:

    Code:
            {xtype: 'tbspacer', width: 30},
            {text: "Add task", id: "add_task", ctCls: "x-btn-over",
             tooltip: "Add a new task for this day",
             iconCls: "silk-add", handler: task_add
            },
            "",
