I notice the beta includes column filtering - this is great - perhaps added in response to the passionate requests from users ?

Anyway whilst it is good to see it in there, what is really needed is inline display of column header filter fields - i.e. a filter row. It looks like the beta provides a dropdown listbox with filter options, which is good, but nowhere near as usable as filter fields displayed inline in the column headers.
