Default submit md5 encoding of a form field

submit md5 encoding of a form field

Hi all, I'm trying the form example of the FormPanel api docs ( http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-4.0...FormPanel.html ). It works fine but what if i need to submit a md5 encoding of a value?
How can I do the encoding before the form being submitted ?
And when it's gone Ext.util.md5 function? Do I have to use external code (for example jquery) for doing that?
    Thank you very much

    Daniele

edit: May I have to write my own submit method through Ext.Ajax.request, wonder if extjs can do that for me. Also writing my own method still I have to use another framework for doing the encoding?

You could create a model to represent the contents of your form then use getForm().updateRecord() to set the fields and finally save the record.
