    Default Form submitting issues

    Form submitting issues

    I have built a form that is used on an intranet, the problem is when I submit it gives me a 404 error in firebug. I am writing this in cakephp on a windows IIS 6.0 Server. I noticed that it is appending a # to the end of the url it is submitting to such as //www.example.com/forum/add# I am assuming the pound is causing the 404. Any thoughts on why that might be occuring? Here is my form object

    Ext.onReady(function(){

    Ext.QuickTips.init();

    var formObject;

    var buttonHandler = function(button,event) {
    formObject.form.submit({url:'<?php echo $html->url(); ?>',
    waitMsg:'Saving Data...',
    success:doneFunction
    });
    };//end of button handler

    var doneFunction = function(form,action) {
    alert("success");
    }

    formObject = new Ext.FormPanel({
    labelWidth: 75, // label settings here cascade unless overridden
    frame:true,
    title: 'Daily/Monthly',
    bodyStyle:'padding:5px 5px 0',
    width: 768,
    defaults: {width: 450},
    defaultType: 'textfield',

    items: [{
    fieldLabel: 'First Name',
    name: 'data[User][[name]',
    id: 'data[User][name]',
    allowBlank:false
    }
    ],
    buttons: [{
    text: 'Login',
    handler: buttonHandler
    }]

    });

    formObject.render('content');
    });

    It should not be appending a #.

    //www.example.com/forum/add is not a valid URL, unless your site looks like http://myDomain/www.example.com/forum/add.
