    Default Ext.Component - no access to internal html element in FF

    Ext.Component - no access to internal html element in FF

    Hello

    I have a component that has a textarea inside. The problem is I can't type to this textarea. It works in IE but it doesn't in FF.
    Code:
    new Ext.draw.Component({
    	floating : true,
    	renderTo : 'mainPanel',
    	id : 'win' + counter,
    	html : '<textarea class="txarea" maxlength="1000" rows="3" '
    			+ 'id="notes'+ counter	+ '"></textarea>',
    			style : {
    			backgroundColor : 'yellow',
    			border : '1px solid black'
    			},
    	frame : false,
    	draggable : true,
    	resizable : false,
    	x : 40,
    	y : 40
    }).show();
    Thank you!

    it's because the parent div has
    Code:
    role="presentation"
    If you remove that in firebug, it works. IE doesn't know about this.

    You would need to overwrite the renderTpl to remove this.
