card layout, but how to slide animate?
card layout, but how to slide animate?
In Extjs4, changing a card appears to be done via setActiveItem(index) whereas in Touch the same function has setActiveItem(index,animation).
How can I apply a slide animation to a card layout in Extjs4?

I know the next and prev methods on the layout accept an anim and wrap

Lucky enough, I have a plugin that I worked with next and prev...
May not use reverse as it defaults to false but threw it in there just so you can understand a little more.Code:panel.layout.next({ type : 'slide', reverse : true, .... }, true);
The true at the end is for wrap. Basically if you get to the last item if you want it to go to the first item if you do next.Mitchell Simoens @SenchaMitch

Yes, I just read the code and "next" calls "setActiveItem" with an animation parameter that it does not support.
Bummer.
Is this a known/logged bug? How do I check/report that?

Looks like it won't make 4.0 GA but the release after it.

When you say next release do you mean 4.1? I was just looking to see if there was any animation allowable with next/prev in 4.0.2 and looks like there is not.
Also, I assume setActiveItem would have that same feature-set in the end, too. Does that sound right?
