    I am trying to run the sencha command with an extjs example html page:

    Code:
    cd C:\ext-4.0.1\examples\charts
    sencha create jsb -a Area.html -p app.jsb -v
    or

    Code:
    sencha create jsb -a file:///C:/ext-4.0.1/examples/charts/Area.html -p app.jsb -v
    the generated json file shows this:
    Code:
    {
        "projectName": "Project Name",
        "licenseText": "Copyright(c) 2011 Company Name",
        "builds": [
            {
                "name": "All Classes",
                "target": "all-classes.js",
                "options": {
                    "debug": true
                },
                "files": []
            },
            {
                "name": "Application - Production",
                "target": "app-all.js",
                "compress": true,
                "files": [
                    {
                        "path": "",
                        "name": "all-classes.js"
                    },
                    {
                        "path": "",
                        "name": "app.js"
                    }
                ]
            }
        ],
        "resources": []
    }
    resources and files array are empty. they should contain some attributes, yes?... what am I doing wrong here?

    i hope you enabled the Ext.Loader and used Ext.require or requires for classes..
    also, in shenca docs we have
    sencha create jsb -a index.html -p app.jsb3

    you have
    sencha create jsb -a Area.html -p pp.jsb3

    I am not using any of my code for this. I am using the examples from the EXTJS folder to test making a build with their examples first. Yes, their examples use the Require syntax. The sencha create command does not work with the examples.

    goto the examples folder and try this:
    sencha create jsb -a Area.html -p app.jsb3 -v

    it does not generate the list of objects to use into the json array...

    Can anyone confirm that this is or is not working for them using this example from the extjs examples folder?
    ....
    ..
    also I tried putting "Ext.Loader.setConfig({enabled:true});" at the beginning of the Onready block, this has no effect (no effect in loading attributes into jsb3 file....

    With the sample from the docs it works when I don't use the full url. However when I do use the full url it seems that phantom js is not loading the webpage.

    ...so the problem is that my web server is using windows authentication--I'm embarrassed that it took so long to identify! At any rate, is there any way around this (besides just switching off authentication)?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    not able to create .jsb3 file

    Hi Guys,
    i am facing the similar problem in creating the .jsb3 file in linux 64 bit . My index file contains the below mentioned lines:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="extjs/ext-debug.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    Ext.Loader.setConfig({
    enabled: true,
    paths: {
    'Ext.ux': 'extjs/src/ux',
    'DSHB': 'app'
    }
    });
    Environment = {};
    </script>

    <script type="text/javascript" src="app.js"></script>

    when i am trying to create the .jsb3 file , i am getting the error as

    [ERROR] Ext is not defined, please verify that the library is loaded properly on the application's page
    undefined:216 ReferenceError: Can't find variable: Ext

    could any one please help me in finding the solution for this issue of creating the .jsb3 file .

    I can confirm that I see the same problem in ExtJS version 4.0.6.
    But I think I found a solution. Change line 8 in "Area.html". It reads:
    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="../../bootstrap.js"></script>
    Change it to:
    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="../../ext-debug.js"></script>
    And then run the above command again (in folder ext-4.0.6\examples\charts\),
    It should now include a lot more files.
