    Question Maintaining Consistency between ExtJs 4 and Sencha Touch

    Maintaining Consistency between ExtJs 4 and Sencha Touch


    I'm planning to develop an application using ExtJs4 with MVC framework.
    And I'm planning to provide my service even for iPad and mobiles.
    So i would like to create an application using ExtJs4 MVC framework,
    and reuse controllers, models and stores for Sencha Touch by changing views.
    But the problem i was facing is, the MVC framework in ExtJs 4 and Sencha Touch is kinda different and syntax has lot of differences.
    What I would like to know is, Is there any Compability layer or any future release gonna come where i can get ExtJs4 framework get work both in ExtJs4 and Sencha Touch.

    Please someone let me know!!!!

    the MVC classes in Ext JS 4 are in what's called Sencha Platform. Sencha Platform is the core of Ext JS 4 and ST 2 so the MVC will be identical.

    Sencha Touch 2 will be brought more in line with Ext JS 4. We are striving to have great parity between the two, we want this also! Don't start asking when yet, we just now started planning.
