Question Replacement of Ext GWT 2 events and listeners with GWT Handler

Replacement of Ext GWT 2 events and listeners with GWT Handler

I'm interested in the replacement of Ext GWT 2 events and listeners with GWT Handler so I already know that I will migrate to GXT 3.0 as soon as possible!

From this point of view I'm worried to start a new project and after some months to migrate it to GXT 3.0.

Do you think that the migration will be easy or I must considered something during the development to avoid problems in the migration?

Thanks a lot for any advice!

We plan to build a new system based on GXT 3.0 as well.

Question: If we buy a license now - is it possible to access some kind of beta? And does it contain an upgrade to the upcoming 3.0?

There will be a developer preview very soon. However as this is a preview, you should still expect major changes and it wont be complete

On the same boat here. We're about to kick off a new project which we want to use gxt 3. How major is the change going to be?

Default Blog says Q2 for 3.0

    Blog says Q2 for 3.0

From the 2011 roadmap at http://www.sencha.com/blog/2011-product-roadmap-update/ found the following quote:

"During SenchaCon 2010 we said that we would release Ext GWT 3.0 in Q2 of 2011 and we remain on track for this."

    So maybe we're close?

I've noticed that DP2 is available now with UI binder.
Are there any examples on how to use UI binder with GXT 3?
    Thanks.
