Figured I would reply and say that it is working fine with out 4.0.2a application.

the problem reproduced in windows local file system, not web server.
and ubuntu has no this problem.

Anyone found a solution to this? The bug is easily reproduced by trying to expand a row in the official demo here:

It seems that there was already a bug report for the issue, and according to Animal, should be fixed in 4.0.5!
