Building Sencha Touch App with SDK
Building Sencha Touch App with SDK
I am a bit confused on using the SDK. I have installed the sdk and tried to run
I keep getting "sencha: command not found"Code:cd /Folder/Path/ sencha build
Could be my lack of knowledge of the terminal.

The installer is for the SDK Tools - not the SDK itself. At the moment Touch 1.x cannot take advantage of these tools, but 2.x will be able to

Can you give us some basic usage for the new Sencha Touch 2 SDK please?
Can you give us some basic usage for the new Sencha Touch 2 SDK please?
I have downloaded the new Sencha Touch 2 Preview Release and installed the new SDK tools, but there is no readme or help file or example usage anywhere. Can you please give us a link or a basic usage example and where the folders should be located in relation to each other. Any other info about native packaging would also be much appreciated.
Currently when I use JSBuilder I have to manually select the required Sencha Touch JavaScript files which often takes hours of trial and error, so I am very keen to use this new SDK to automatically build select the JavaScript files - keep up the great work!

Hey James, we're working on making this a better experience, for now though the developer preview doesn't have all the bells and whistles such as JSBuilder automation
