    ext4 user extensions and plugins

What is everyone doing for porting their apps to ext4, that rely on user extensions, or plugins?
I like the idea of organizing my code to mvc, since3 several of my applications suffer from code sprawl.
I hesitate to do so, because I heavily rely on things like saki's search grid, pupload, and several other ux's.

Time to go out on your own and port them over if you need them. A good author welcomes it.
