    Question Unanswered: axis title internationalization?

    Unanswered: axis title internationalization?


    Hi;
    cant really understand how to internationalize the title of an axes
    I used to put html entities for sencha touch deisplay strings and that passed ok.
    in charts the html entities are just displayed as is...
    any suggestions?

    Hi,

    The surface should support utf-8 characters without any encoding, if the proper meta tag and headers are in the HTML file. I think adding:

    Code:
    <meta charset="utf-8"/>
    should enable canvas rendering of utf-8 characters.

    so chart handles UTF-8 style characters, not html entities...

    Hi - correct, you don't need to escape the characters into html-entities, all those characters should be supported without being encoded. I guess that if you already have html-entities you could try using `decode` to get back the original string and then use that into the surface.
