Canvas engine for draw package

Hi all,

a half year ago Jamie Avins promised about canvas support for drawing (http://www.sencha.com/blog/ext-js-4-...g-and-charting).
"(We’re also planning Canvas support for a 4.x release.)"

Till now only Svg and Vml engines are supported for drawing. If ever it is on the some beta/alpha/pre-alpha/... stage I'm very interested to get access to the sources and contribute in playing /toying/testing with it, may be partial deal with development. I'm planing to create the diagram editor on the canvas html5 basis.

Any thoughts?
