For those ColdFusion developers out there who work with WDDX packets to return their query results, I've developed a WddxReader class that you can use for your grids. Built on Ext2.0-alpha1, here's an early look:
Still left to do is to fully parse datetime values to include timezone info in the value that's presented to the grid. For now this does not support paging, but may be updated shortly to include that.
