    Question Unanswered: File upload issue in chrome and ie8

    Unanswered: File upload issue in chrome and ie8

    hi all,

    my code for image upload works fine in firefox but doesn't work in chrome , safari and ie8

    extjs code:

    ....
    items: [{
    xtype: 'filefield',
    fieldLabel: 'Event Logo',
    id:'logo-path',
    name: 'logopath',
    msgTarget: 'side',
    value:"",
    allowBlank: false,
    anchor: '100%',
    buttonText: 'Choose File'
    }],buttons: [{
    text: 'Upload',
    id:'Upload',
    handler: function(){
    var form = this.up('form').getForm();
    if(form.isValid()){
    var photoQuery = Ext.query('input[name="logopath"]','index');
    form.submit({
    url: url+'file',
    waitMsg: 'Uploading your logo...',
    success: function(fp, o) {
    Ext.Msg.alert('Success', 'Your image has been uploaded.');
    }
    });
    this.up('window').hide();
    }
    }
    }
    ,{
    text: 'Cancel',
    handler: function() {
    this.up('form').getForm().reset();
    this.up('window').hide();
    }
    }
    ]
    });

    In the above mentioned browsers image is successfully uploaded but the progess bar is not closed, it still showing uploading....

    would like to know when will be the progress bar closed and how to do that,

    i am not getting any reponse from the server, so is it required to have the response from the server, based on the response the progress bar will be closed.

    even there is some blank space appearing in progress bar only in ie8

    thanks in advance...

    I am facing exactly the same issue but only in IE8. The file gets uploaded but the message bar is not closed. Have you been able to locate a solution for this?
