I want alternate ROWs differentiation ..

i put

.touchgridpanel .x-dataview-item :nth-child(odd){
    background-color: #ffffff ; 
}

but this gets apply to x-grid-cell also and make grid look like alternate column. (as in pic)

my requirement is alternate rows..

Instead of x-dataview-item use it's parent.

You were right the first time (think you had a space),

.touchgridpanel .x-dataview-item:nth-child(odd) {
    background-color: #fff;
}

I also pushed an update to my github repo. If you open the index.html example you will see alt row. If you open the editable.html example you will see alt column
