page redirect through ajax (without refreshing)

how i can redirect a page through ajax without refreshing the page.

Could you explain in more detail what you mean? Redirecting without refreshing feels like a contradiction to me.

i have four pages step1.html, step2.html , step3.html and step4.html. when i click button on step1.html the request not sent to server but just go to next page step2.html .
