    Default Answered: panel.setActiveItem animation options

    Answered: panel.setActiveItem animation options

    In ST 2.0, it seems that setActiveItem has lost it's animation option.

    Is defining a show() method in target container & using Ext.Animator.run the new way of doing those animations (is there anything quicker ?!)

  2. Found an easier workaround :

    Code:
    container.getLayout().setAnimation({type: 'slide', direction: 'left'});
    container.setActiveItem(target);
    Is it fine?

    For now, yes, but we'll be bringing a nicer API to this

    I also bumped into this issue. Solved as outlined above. I hope the API comes soon.
