A plugin/package tool ?

Has anyone done a package tool specific to ExtJS?

I am thinking something in lines of

gem for ruby
npm for nodejs
pear for php

It could be great with a easy commandline tool to search and update ExtJS plugins /packages . It could use hammerjs . Maybe it should be part of the Sencha SDK?

If memory serves, someone once tried something like a CPAN or Maven for Ext JS. The problem is getting community involvement around it.
