Hi, does Sencha Touch 2.0 has websockets support? If yes, where can I read something about it? Thank you.

Not out of the box. New features that aren't critical will be added after 2.0 GA release as it is targeted primarily at performance and layouts.

Thanks, I hope it will be a part of Sencha Touch soon. This is becoming a key communication feature.
Are you talking about a WebSocket data proxy?
You can probably make your own pretty easily.
Or just write regular WebSocket code and have it interact with your ST object references.
Thanks. Could you point me to some info about this or sample code. I don't have any experience in WebSocket.
It's a Java based software. I think it's Atmosphere and Jersey.
Thank you. However what I need is only the client side (in the browser) of the WebSocket technology. The server side is written in Java already, but I don't think this is so important. What I need is an easy way to use websockets with Sencha, as it is in Dojo Toolkit for example. Thank you.
