Disable swipe carousel functionality
Disable swipe carousel functionality
Hi guys, is there any way you can disable the swipe functionality for a carousel? I have a touch slideshow that scrolls left and right, and a carousel that contains this with contentEl. When the carousel is swiped left or right, the next card is loaded, but it still attempts to do this for the carousel instead of switching between slideshow images when testing on the iOS devices. In browsers it works fine- the slideshow transitions and the carousel doesn't move an inch.
Any ideas on what's going on and how to solve this?
Thanks guys!

If you don't want the swipe to go back and forward... just use a Container or Panel with card layout.

I did try that, but I couldn't switch to the next panel in the sequence. I could get the active card, but then when trying to set the next one, the panel/container had no way of telling what the next index was.

Code:panel.layout.next(); //go forward one panel.layout.prev(); //go back one
