I have a couple of questions about the Sencha license policy, i would appreciate it greatly if you could spare a few minutes of your time and share your opinion:
I would like to create a mobile application builder for a very specific nitch.
I'm talking a about a small project currently developed by two people.
1. We haven't raised money yet so we cannot afford spending thousands of dollars on OEM license - can we use sencha touch to create the application builder? 2. Assuming we do want to use sencha to create the automatic mobile application builder, but we don't yet have the money for an OEM license, What are our options ? (could we use it until we have revenue and then pay Sencha off, could we get a personal contract with special terms, or get a time-limited license in exchange for percentage of our future income etc...)
3. How is it even possible for small startups in a pre-seed stage to use Sencha for application builder projects?
4. If there is no option for us to use sencha for this project we will have to work with a different framework. which one would you recommend? (native is also an option)
I'l appreciate you honest answer,
I wish it was free
Sencha also offers an OEM license(http://www.sencha.com/products/touch/license/) which seems to cost lots of money. We're currently trying to figure out if this is possible for us to start using sencha as a platform.
In my opinion, you should have an OEM license for starting companies.
