Webdbadmin was released
Hello everybody,
I'm very please to announce the first release of webdbadmin.
A future web based database administration tool. A good alternative to phpmyadmin and all other tools.

I think it's also a good showcase for Extjs.
Feedback is welcomed.
Regards, Andrei Bintintan.

Thanks, was a little worried your emailer was broked.
I never understanded the need of a webbased database administration tool, but great work.

Just like any web app, you can access it anywhere not just on your machine that may have an app installed. Isn't that what we do? Make web apps so that you don't need an installed app?
Yes, that is what we all do sure.
But for managing database a webinterface is wrong IMO.
Using console direct or an database vendor programm is a lot faster, safer and more stable than any webapplication for database.
Just because such webapplication exists, many server get still overtaken (because https is not activated, security holes exist etc....).
-> Just remember phpMyAdmin...........
