    Default Grid Header Height bug in IE

    Grid Header Height bug in IE

    The height for a grid header cell is not not correct when the column is sorted, i.e the sorting arrow is displayed for the column.

    It's for IE. As you can see, there is an extra line in the header:

    HeaderResize.JPG

    There is no problem for FF:

    HeaderResizeFF.JPG

    I'm using Gxt 2.2.5, Gwt 2.3.0.

    Is it a known problem?

    The grid is statefull. The screens above are for the grid when loaded.

    If I click on the column sort again, I get

    HeaderResize2.JPG
    The sort arrow is not visible at all. The blue rectangle shows the sort arrow location in Developer Tools.

    Can you please provide a fully working testcase for this implementing EntryPoint?

    Default Fix for Grid Header Height bug

    Fix for Grid Header Height bug

    The fix we found for all our grid height problems in IE is to specify a css style element

    .x-grid3-hd-inner{
    white-space: normal !important;
    height: 20px;
    }

    It seems that when IE first renders the grid, this element is not sized correctly. The explicit height makes it work in a more stable fashion.
