    Default Unanswered: MVP sample code?

    Unanswered: MVP sample code?

    Hi,

Do you plan to provide sample code for the MVP design pattern ?

    Thanks,

    Chris

The examples and demos provided by GWT should work just fine with GXT 3 - the HasOneWidget and other interfaces are being used where it makes sense, and building a special-purpose wrapper to make it fit elsewhere shouldn't be too hard.

The examples project running at http://www.sencha.com/examples-dev/ (and included in the download) uses activities and places, not as an example of the best way to build an app (an examples app, however interesting, isn't representative of many real world use-cases), but that using GXT components in the MVP ideas suggested by GWT is not hard to do.

Following GWT's demos and examples, but using GXT widgets and fields should work fine - have you run into problems, or are you looking for a tutorial already using GXT 3?

GXT 3.0 beta works fine with mvp4g.

I was actually looking for a tutorial with GXT 3 but I can take a look at mvp4g and the GWT examples of MVP and try to use GXT widgets with them.

The easiest way is to replace the GWT widgets with GXT. If you want to keep your presenters GXT free, you have to write wrappers for the widgets.

if you have questions, the mvp4g newsgroup is a good help.
