    Ext.Loader.setConfig({
    enabled: true,
    paths : {
    'Ext': '.',
    'framework': 'framework'
    }
    });

    Ext.application({
    name: 'gm',

    launch: function() {
    var me = this;
    me.mainController = me.getController('framework.controller.MainController');

    Just in case you didn't know, the last few Sencha Touch 2 releases implemented a new approach to invoking controllers. Here's all you have to do now:

    Code:
    Ext.application({
        name: 'gm',

        controllers: [
        'MainController'
        ],
        launch: function() {
            console.log("launch");
        }
    }
