Default Unanswered: LocalStorage - 5MB limit

    Unanswered: LocalStorage - 5MB limit

    Hello,

I am new to Sencha but I read on the forums that there's a 5MB local storage limit.

Is this limit a global limit size for html5 offline storage or can I define multiple Ext.data.store and go over this 5MB limit?

    Thanks,

    Ed

Do you know what happens if i increase it say 10MB? Will there likely be some perform problems when accessing the data?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

right now I'm interested in the same topic and have the following question based on the given answers:

When I use now the Sqlite, I'm not directly using the simple local storage anymore, right? When I understand this right, Sqlite is another alternative, exactly like IndexedDB, although Sqlite wont get any further support in the future and IndexedDB will replace it, right?
