    Default Many examples

    Many examples

There are many examples of this sliding menu for sencha all over the web. The best way of learning is by studying the examples, some are even step-by-step on forums instead of getting someone else to do it for you. you will become a better developer if you are patient and study yourself.

    Google 'sencha sliding side menu'

I couldn't agree with this more.

If you are used to developing with jQuery and have developed the attitude of "I'll just find a plugin and paste it in" that's not going to fly with Sencha Touch. You need to understand what's happening with each line of code or sooner or later you'll find a performance issue you can't sort.

It's possible to stop the sliding effect when they are in a view for detail?

    Hey @Pulp.
after sencha introduced the Ext.Menu there is no reason to use the components mentioned in this thread.
    just use ST2.3.x's Ext.Menu

I was able to create a nice slide menu by creating a titlebar with the buttons that enable the menu's on the left and right, but since i switched to a navigation view and i have added the buttons to the navigationbar, the sliding animation seems off.

What kind of Slide Navigation Menu are you using? Please link a reference file. Is the .js files in the ux folder.
